When to go on Congo Gorilla Trekking Safari Tours
It can be noted that destination Congo features similar climate throughout the country though there are minor variations between the north and south. The dry and wet seasons keep alternating four times a year. The dry season months are; January to February and May through to September while the rainy seasons commence from April to May and from October to December.
Being an equatorial jungle, the rainy season might be challenging during the gorilla trekking as the vegetation would be dense and trails slippery. The roads accessing the park could as well be a challenge. These combined would make the Congo Gorilla Safaris ideal in the dry season.
